The only complaint I have is that on manual voltage settings, I could only tweak voltage up as opposed to being able to bring it down 2 notches (under volt) with the S2P variant. This motherboard was able to retain my old overclock setting for old FX-4100 y 4.1GHz.

When using onboard video, this motherboard has HDMI output so this could be another plus for those that need such connectivity.

I can now get rid of the pcie-1 card and possibly improve home wired transfer speeds (I can never get the S2P board to show up with 1Gbps connection despite the spec sheet saying its a gigabit nic.I will update my review if this board performs worse than the older S2P model but for the meantime, I'm giving it 4 stars based on MY requirements=update: As of Dec 3. The old S2P sported the blue and white color scheme so the new grey-black color of the motherboard makes it look more modern. The only pluses I expect to see on the board are the inclusion of USB3 and Gigabit LAN. Graphics duty is minimal utilizing only another Gigabyte HD6450 in place of the DX10 shared graphics.
And while I do not expect this to overclock the FX-4100 any higher, I would at least want to see the same 4.1GHz on air that I was able to achieve on the old board while at the same time stepping the voltage 2 notches down. SATA-II is fine since I will be using a slow and old 64GB Kingston V100 SSD as boot drive. This machine is basically going to be an internet browser, some word processing machine and basic multimedia playback so the old FX-4100 from the S2P would be more than sufficient. The IDE port may not be an ideal feature for some users but this will allow me to use two old WD5000AAKB that has been gathering dust somewhere. This limited using 8-cores for the previous motherboard since the BIOS has not been update d to work with Vishera. This also has support for 125TDP processors while the previous one was rated for only 95W CPU's. This one has 4 memory slots as opposed to only 2 DDR3 slots for the older motherboard. Not the 4.1 rev but rather the GA-78LMT-S2P version.I am using this "new" board to replace the older S2P.First, let me highlight the differences.
I doubt it's OC potential so I would really limit any hardcore overclocking on this board. With that being said, I have the previous iteration of this board. This is probably the most basic board with legacy features available for the AM3/AM3+ platform.
