It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: mwac.sys.
#Avg force uninstall driver
This was probably caused by the following module: mwac.sys (mwac+0圆BF3)Ī third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time. Your system configuration may be incorrect. The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. This problem might also be caused because of overheating (thermal issue). More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
This might be a case of memory corruption. This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.

Once in SAFE MODE I was able to manually remove all the leftover files in C:Windows and my Registry. I've tried running AVG Remover, no luck getting rid of the leftovers.īut, with your suggestion about using SAFE MODE worked like a charm. So for the last month & a half I have had to put up with "annomallies" caused by having left over AVG files and running AVAST at the same time. I even tried deleting the leftovers in my registry manually with no luck. I tried running Ccleaner, Wise Disk Cleaner, Unlocker, I even tried to manually remove the leftovers in C:Windows, but I could not get rid of everything ( like avgboot.exe and other avg driver files).
#Avg force uninstall install
So I did an uninstall, but when I went to install a different AV it kept telling me that I needed to 1st unistall AVG.
Well, 1st off I didn't like the UI, then there was these "nag screens" wanting me to upgrade to the paid version and I was noticing a hit on my RAM usage. malwarbytes found a trojan and all was well again, but since i didn't trust McAfee to protect me anymore (it's scans did not find the Trojan) I switched to AVG about 2 months ago. Thank you very much Bala and Akash for your suggestions.Ī while back I felt unsafe with McAfee as my AV solution as I kept getting wierd popups on my computer. ODE MY GOD.Finally a solution to get this garbage off of my computer !! yippie !! Hooray !!
